Currently, the health department is vaccinating those in Phase 1A and Phase 1B Tier 1. Employers within these phases should contact the health department at HealthDepartment@stjoemo.org to express interest on behalf of your employees. Tier 1A Long Term Care Facilities in Buchanan County receive vaccine via pharmacies. Phase 1B Tier 2 includes people aged 65 and above and adults with medical conditions that put them in a higher risk category. These citizens may register for vaccine clinics being held at East Hills Shopping Center and can register at www.mymlc.com/vaccine. If there are no open appointment times, please check back later. Registration is available only for the amount of vaccine currently in stock and new appointment times are added as vaccine is received.
