The St. Joseph Health Department will be hosting the annual free vaccine clinic on Thursday, October 6, at the Civic Arena. This year's clinic will offer both the flu and COVID-19 vaccines, which will run from 9am-noon or while supplies last. Appointments are not needed as this is a walk-in clinic. Those attending the clinic are asked to wear a shirt which allows access to the shoulder area. The clinic is open to those 18+ years who reside and/or work in Buchanan County. The Pfizer vaccine will be the only COVID-19 vaccine available for both the initial series and the bivalent doses. Those with Medicare, Missouri HealthNet or privately insured are asked to present their card at clinic registration. No out-of-pocket expense will be charged.
