The City of St. Joseph’s Municipal Court will be closed on the afternoon of Friday, September 19, and all day on Monday, September 22, due to work happening at the Buchanan County Courthouse.
The court and its administrative office will shut down at 1pm, on September 19, and reopen at 7:30am, on Tuesday, September 23. Residents needing to pay fines or conduct other business with the court are asked to plan accordingly.
St. Joseph's Municipal Court is located in the basement of the Buchanan County Courthouse. The entire courthouse is being closed to allow for the installation of a new emergency generator system, and there will be no access to the building during that time.
