The city is taking new steps to engage our community by holding meetings in neighborhood locations and encouraging residents to connect with city officials and staff to talk about issues in our community.
Residents are invited to attend a S.T.E.P. meeting this Thursday, October 5, beginning at 6pm, at Hazel’s Downtown, located in the American Electric Lofts at 310 North 3rd Street. The hour-long meeting will focus on economic development and will feature an informal presentation by Clint Thompson, director of Planning and Community Development for the city, and Natalie Redmond, president of the Chamber of Commerce. Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions about economic development and share their thoughts and opinions on the topic.
We hope you will join us as we spend an hour Sharing Thoughts and Engaging People to make a difference in our community.
