Traci

Posted on February 7, 2020 at 4:04 PM by Brad Grasty

Traci2Traci, 575160, is a 1 1/2 year old, 47 lb pitbull.  She is in the Puppies For Parole program where it has been shown that the word loving is in every sentence that describes this pretty girl.  She loves squeaky toys & playing ball.  She loves all the dogs & plays with them whenever she has a chance.  Though she can be hesitant at first meeting new people, she quickly warms up & welcomes them to her.  She is a high energy dog that loves to run outdoors & would be a good candidate for an active family.  She also has the added plus that she can calm down & loves laying next to people.  She does have a slight limp that comes from an old injury, but it doesn’t seem to hinder her in anyway.  If you would like to meet Traci, please fill out an application & call our volunteer, Kathy, for a meet & greet 816-752-2295.

Oley1Oley, 581257, is a cute one year old, 45 lb lab/pit x who is in the Puppies For Parole program.  He is very playful with all the dogs & is learning his commands very quickly.  He is an obedient guy that wants to please & likes praise & attention more for doing good than even getting treats.  Oley’s handler says Oley has a unique behavior that shows his loving personality.  When Oley is picked up, he will wrap his paws around the handler’s waist & hug him.  If you are interested in meeting this happy boy, please fill out an application & call our volunteer, Kathy, for a meet & greet 816-752-2295.

Harrison

Harry2Harrison, 577852, a 3 year old, 70 lb hound x is turning out to be an  amazing dog in the Puppies For Parole Program.  He is laid back, very affectionate, easy to work with, loves people, is not a barker, minds well & is already walking nicely on a leash.  In the short time he has been in the program, two special behaviors have emerged.  First, Harrison has formed a strong bond with his handler,   following him everywhere & always coming when called.  When the handler goes to the restroom, Harrison will sit outside the entrance & wait till the handler comes out.  Secondly, dogs in the program seem to feel comfortable with him, even the shy & anxious dogs become playful when they see him.  He is a sensitive guy so only a gentle voice is needed for any corrections.  If you would like to meet him, please fill out an application & call our volunteer, Kathy, for a meet & greet 816-752-2295.
