| Inlets in need of
repair are placed on a list. The ones that are a danger to the
traveling Public are repaired as soon as possible. The rest are
repaired by Work District. The one’s that have been on the
list the longest are repaired first. |

When repairs are made,
the old inlet is removed first. Then a new inlet box is set into
place |
| Then the new box is
connected to the sewer line. |

Concrete forms are
set to replace the surrounding curb and sidewalk. These areas
may be small areas on corners or larger areas. |
| The concrete is then
poured in the new curb and sidewalk. |

The concrete forms
are removed. The new curb and sidewalk are back filled with soil
and grass seed is planted. To complete the repairs, the asphalt
pavement is replaced in front of the inlet. |
