Mission
The City’s Neighborhood’s Development Coordinator actively assists citizens of St.
Joseph in their efforts to build community and improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods.
Neighborhood Services is dedicated to:
- Being a resource for citizens and community groups
- Partnering in fostering neighborhood leadership
- Working toward a clean and healthy environment
- Safe housing for residents throughout the community
- Serving as a conduit between residents and local government resources
- Seeking positive relationships with citizens through problem solving
- Providing volunteer and giving opportunities
- Promoting community vitality
- Aids in planning neighborhood clean-up and community service projects
