Legal Department

The city attorney's office staff conduct litigation involving the city. prepare and enforce city ordinances and resolutions render legal opinions and advice, and draft city contracts, leases and other legal documents. The city prosecutor represents the city when individuals are seen in the Municipal Court for citations issued by a city department for violations of state municipal law and codes. 

Risk Management

Risk Management, a division of the city attorney's office, is a program designed to protect the assets of the city and minimize risks to the municipality's property, autos, equipment and employees.
