Christmas Tree Removal Date Extended

The Christmas Tree Disposal final drop off date has been extended to January 22. As in years past, the city will provide a disposal site at Drake Softball Complex (22nd and Southwest Parkway) for residents to drop off live Christmas trees. Residents can dispose of their trees now through Sunday, January 22. On January 23, the trees will be removed and taken to the landfill to be mulched. Be sure that all ornaments, tinsel and tree stands have been removed.
